WideSplit for Mac

Share one screen in Teams. Not your whole ultrawide.

WideSplit splits your monitor into separate screens. In the share picker each one appears as a screen of its own, so you share the one with your slides and keep the rest to yourself.

Share in Microsoft Teams

Pick one WideSplit screen in Teams' share picker and share it like any other screen. The people in the call see the screen you picked, not your whole monitor.

You stop sharing from Teams' own sharing bar, as usual.

Keep the rest to yourself

Present from one screen and keep chat, notes and your inbox on the others. One screen goes out; the other screens stay yours. Check what's on a screen before you share it.

Other meeting apps

Any app that lets you choose a screen to share sees each WideSplit screen as a separate screen. No plug-in, no setting.

Questions

Can I share part of my screen in Teams on a Mac?

With WideSplit, part of your monitor becomes a screen of its own. In Teams you share that screen like any other.

Does it work with other meeting apps?

Any app that lets you choose a screen to share sees each WideSplit screen as a separate screen. We've tried it in Microsoft Teams; in other apps, please tell us how it goes.

Do the people in the call need anything?

No. They see a shared screen as usual.

How do I stop?

Stop sharing in your meeting app as usual. To turn the split off, choose “Stop the magic” in the WideSplit menu. ⌃⌥⌘P returns your monitor to full screen at any time.
